Prov. 16:17 “The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.”
Officers in Oklahoma pulled over a man, with expired registration tags and got a surprise. He didn’t have a valid driver’s license, the vehicle was stolen, and there was an open bottle of whiskey in the car. That’s not all, he had a gun, a cannister of radioactive uranium, and a live Timber rattlesnake in the vehicle and a passenger who was a convicted felon.
A lot of people are traveling down the highway of life with dangerous baggage. We enjoy making our own decisions, but our choices should be based on what God desires for us. Isa. 35:8 says, “And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.”
Are you carrying around too much baggage? May the Lord get us through life wisely with Godly choices. Let’s travel a Highway of Holiness for His glory. The highway of the upright avoids evil and has no room for the serpent in the car.

Bro. Kincaid says they had many wonderful anniversary services in their Reynosa churches as well as a church in Veracruz, within the last few months of 2025. In the Veracruz church, Bro. Kincaid’s son, Darin felt led to preach a salvation message. At the end of the service, 5 people came forward to accept the Lord, and 1 rededicated their life to the Lord after straying and becoming addicted to drugs. While in Veracruz, Darin preached in another church where a man gave his heart to the Lord. He had come to the service beaten down by alcohol addiction and cares of the world. After he surrendered to the Lord, he found his burdens removed and his spirit uplifted, as evidenced by his joyous countenance as he left.
December was a very busy month with the Churches Christmas banquet, Christmas caroling, the Choir’s Christmas program and Bro. Ryan Lewis ministering in a service. The banquet was filled with good food, fellowship and games. A group from the church visited 5 homes, Christmas caroling. Each home enjoyed the visit and entered in, singing along. The choir’s Christmas presentation was a blessing, and the children’s recitations were enjoyed by all. It was uplifting to see the children take part.
Bro. Ryan’s message on gifts for Jesus encouraged us all. And our last service of the year was filled with God’s presence. We pray you have a Blessed 2026.
HOW CAN YOU SEEK CHRIST THIS NEW YEAR? HOW CAN YOU WORSHIP HIM?
