John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
What a great word from the Bible “More Abundantly”. Our faith is more precious than gold (Peter 1:7), and His Word is more to be desired than gold (Psalm 19:10), His blessings to us are more than we can number (Psalm 40:5). So we should praise Him more and more (Psalm 71:14). We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). He gives more grace (James 4:6), so we should bear more fruit (John15:2) and labor more abundantly (1 Cor. 15:10). Paul said (1 Thess. 4:1) “…. exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more”. 1 Thess. 4:10 “...but we beseech you brethren, that ye increase more;”
This is the time to take your work for Christ more seriously than ever. We can’t afford to live unprioritized lives. We’re living in the last days, and we should be more diligent than ever in fulfilling God’s plan for every day. Review your calendar and evaluate your schedule. Are there things you need to delete or undertake for Christ?
Let’s determine to do more for the Kingdom of God.
What a Christmas season, beginning with the Christmas banquet, good food, fellowship and a game of 'Let’s make a Deal', with gifts and zonks. Then going to watch a Christmas play at Christian Life Assembly, Christmas caroling and the Christmas program at the church.
We thank everyone that took part in each activity. We enjoyed the caroling and hearing those we visited sing along. The Christmas program put on at the church involved everyone in the church as it told the story of the birth of Jesus.
We had wonderful services with God honoring us with His presence and we look forward to more wonderful services in the new year.
WHAT OCCUPIES YOUR TIME AND WHAT MEANING DOES IT HOLD?
HOW MIGHT YOU CHANGE YOUR PRIORITIES TO FOLLOW JESUS?
LOVING FATHER, HELP ME FIND MY FULFILMENT IN YOU.
